Every day at Dayspring Villa provides our residents with a full set of opportunities to engage, mingle, learn, and grow.
Whether you’re a crafter, nature lover, board games master or movie lover, there are several activities to cater to almost any interest. And, if you don’t find something that interests you already on the assisted living enrichment calendar, you can suggest ideas to the calendar crew – or better yet, join the group of neighbors who set up the monthly activities calendar. With the support of staff, the calendar committee creates the monthly calendar, giving the community freedom to schedule the activities they want.
Because our intimate community values each resident, we have a welcoming committee, a committee called, “we belong” and a birthday committee – all designed to include and engage every resident. You don’t have to wonder if anyone will notice when your birthday rolls around!
Opportunities to stay active are also plentiful with nature trails right outside the door at Sloan’s Lake Park. One of Denver’s most popular parks, the area bustles with activity or shady spots to sit and people watch or read a good book. But in the cooler months, you might be more inclined to opt for indoor wellness activities found on the assisted living enrichment calendar such as yoga or move and groove with your fellow residents.
For those who want to include church service, bible study and/or prayer circles, there are opportunities for all of those without ever leaving the property. Many residents enjoy sharing these gatherings with their neighbors fostering a sense of community.
The days are full of activity and opportunities to connect with others and yet, you can choose what activities you would like to participate in or find restful times in your own apartment. The choice is yours!
Below, you’ll find a sample of one of our monthly calendars.
